What problems do freelancers still have that software has not solved?

I am looking for my next project and want to build for freelancers. What pain points do freelancers still deal with daily that current tools do not solve well?
I know invoicing and project management are covered. What is still painful?

Client communication tracking. I use email, Slack, WhatsApp, and sometimes text with different clients. There is no tool that aggregates all client communication in one timeline. I lose context constantly.

Scope creep prevention. Existing project management tools track tasks but do not help you enforce project boundaries. Something that automatically flags when work exceeds the agreed scope and helps generate change order requests.

Tax preparation for international freelancers. If you work with clients in multiple countries, understanding tax obligations is a nightmare. Existing tools assume single-country tax situations.

Lead qualification and pipeline. CRMs are built for sales teams, not freelancers. A simple tool that tracks incoming leads, helps you qualify them (budget, timeline, fit), and manages the proposal process.
