Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the SolomonSignal website at www.solomonsignal.com and any related services we operate (collectively, the "Service"). SolomonSignal is operated by Solomon Technology ("SolomonSignal", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SolomonSignal (16 if you reside in the European Economic Area). By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Accounts and Security

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at [email protected] immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are inactive for an extended period.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (idea drafts, product listings, comments, votes, forum posts) ("User Content"). By submitting User Content you grant SolomonSignal a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting and display), publish, perform, and distribute it as needed to operate and improve the Service. You also grant other users a limited licence to view and interact with your User Content as permitted by the Service.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant the licences above and that your User Content does not infringe any third party's rights or violate applicable law.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that incites violence;
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  • upload viruses, malware, or any code intended to disrupt or damage the Service;
  • attempt to access, scrape, or interfere with the Service in a manner that bypasses our published interfaces, including unauthorised crawling, denial of service, or rate-limit evasion;
  • use the Service to send spam, unsolicited messaging, or affiliate-link manipulation;
  • manipulate votes, reviews, rankings, or any community signal through automated means or coordinated inauthentic behaviour;
  • infringe intellectual property rights or violate any applicable law in your jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate this section without prior notice.

5. Advertising

The Service is supported in part by advertising. We display ads served by Google AdSense and may add other advertising networks. Our use of advertising cookies, your opt-out options, and related disclosures are described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Our Intellectual Property

The SolomonSignal site, brand, logos, design, original written content, software, and curated data are owned by Solomon Technology or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or included software.

You may share short excerpts of our editorial content with proper attribution and a link back to the source page. Commercial reuse or large-scale reproduction requires written permission.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service contains links to third-party websites, tools, and services (including the SaaS products we review and compare). We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, practices, or policies. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's terms.

Some links to third-party products are affiliate links. We may receive a commission if you make a purchase after clicking such a link. This does not affect editorial independence; we disclose affiliate relationships where applicable.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our reasonable discretion. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnity, Dispute Resolution) will continue in force.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SOLOMONSIGNAL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT THE EDITORIAL CONTENT WILL BE COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR ACCURATE FOR YOUR PARTICULAR USE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOLOMONSIGNAL AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SolomonSignal from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. To the extent permitted by law, you and SolomonSignal waive any right to a jury trial. Class actions are also waived to the extent permitted by law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting a notice on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
