Just launched my MVP. It is a project management tool for freelancers. I have exactly 3 users (me, my partner, and my mom). How do I get to 100 without a marketing budget?

SolomonSignal is also a good channel - submit your product here and engage with the community feedback. Our forums have an active audience of builders and potential early adopters.

Here is exactly what I would do: 1. Find 10 freelancer communities (Reddit, Facebook groups, Discord servers, Slack groups) 2. Spend a week being genuinely helpful in each one - answer questions, share advice, build relationships 3. After you have credibility, share your tool in context when someone has the problem you solve 4. Write 3 blog posts targeting keywords freelancers search for 5. Post on Product Hunt when you have 20+ users and some testimonials This will get you to 50-100 users in 4-6 weeks.

Post on Hacker News "Show HN" when you have a decent demo. The HN crowd is honest and will give you real feedback. If your product resonates, you can get hundreds of signups in a day. If it does not, you get invaluable feedback on why.

Direct outreach worked best for me. Find freelancers on Twitter/LinkedIn who complain about project management. Send them a genuine message about the problem, not a pitch about your product. If they resonate, mention you built something. Expect 5-10% conversion rate.
